Is your building & workplace legally compliant?

Fire dampers are passive fire protection products used in HVAC ducts to prevent and isolate the spread of fire inside the ductwork through fire-resistance rated walls and floors.

To comply with the BS 9999 Fire Damper legislation, Fire damper testing is required to be carried out annually. This test includes a visual inspection of the fire damper and a drop test. Our team will then correctly reset, so it is ready in an emergency.

Following completion we will supply you with a full fire damper testing report, which includes the following:

-            Fire Damper Type and Specifications

-            Fire Damper Location

-            Photographic evidence

-            Fire Damper test result

-            Details of any fire damper remedial works that are required for compliance

Evidence

Completing a testing routine is insufficient for compliance. You need to maintain accurate records when testing was carried out. Our team produces an industry-leading fire damper testing report, which includes photographic evidence of testing, to satisfy authorities that testing has been conducted.
